WB Food SI Exam
A few days ago, the recruitment notification of the state food department was published. Since many days the job aspirants of the state have been waiting for the State Food Sub Inspector (WB Food SI Exam).
Finally ending the wait of all the job aspirants Public Service Commission (PSC) released Food SI Recruitment Notification on 22/08/2023.
To apply for the post of Food Si, first go to the official website of the Public Service Commission and register. Apply through wbpsc.gov.in website. Those whose enrollment is already done before this,
also have to register anew. It is seen that there are total 480 vacancies for Food SI post this year, but more than 13 lakh job aspirants have applied for Food SI post.
Candidates are recruited through two phases in Food SI Recruitment. First there will be a written test of 100 marks, where there will be mcq based questions. Qualified candidates will be called for an interview, which will carry 20 marks. Eligible candidates will be recruited on that basis.
According to sources, more than 13 lakh applications have been submitted so far for 480 vacancies. From August 23 of last month to September 21 of this month, so many applications have been submitted online. This recruitment exam was last held in 2018. Then after five long years, he is going to be appointed as a food sub-inspector again.
Total number of applicants during Food SI exam 2018 was around 11 lakhs. Most had advanced degrees. Engineering, BA, MA degree holders also applied for this post. After 2018, the coronavirus took its toll. Many people have lost their jobs, people’s lifestyles have changed a lot.
That is why the urge to get government jobs is much more than before. This is believed to be the reason why so many applications have been submitted.
