Krishak Bandhu Scheme

Keeping in mind the farmers of the state, the state government launched the Krishak Bandhu Scheme (Krishak Bandhu Scheme). Under this scheme, West Bengal State Government farmers can get Rs 4,000 to 10,000 in two installments from the State Government for rabi and kharif crops. Remittance of Krishak Bandhu scheme to farmers’ accounts for rabi season has started.

Pradhan Mantri Kishan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM kisan) was launched by the central government to provide financial assistance to farmers. Krishak Bandhu Scheme was launched by the state government. Under this scheme, farmers get Rs 4,000 to 10,000 annually from the state government in two installments for cultivating rabi and kharif crops.

 If a farmer under the scheme dies within 60 years, the state government gives a one-time financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the farmer’s family. In 2022, about 79 lakh farmers were given assistance of Tk 2468 crore by the state government for Kharif season. About 91 lakh 57 thousand farmers of the state have been helped through this scheme.

From December 2022, the state government started sending money under the Krishak Bandhu scheme to farmers’ accounts for Rabi season. All the farmers who have been enrolled have started receiving the money. Farmers who have valid accounts are given priority for remittance.

 As lakhs of farmers in the state receive the money from this scheme, it is not possible to send the money to all of them on the same day. The money is being sent to the farmers step by step.

So if you haven’t received the money from the Krishak Bandhu scheme yet, don’t worry. Money will be credited to your account very soon.

How to check whether the money has entered the Farmer Friend project?

If your name is in the list of farmers who have been given Krishak Bandhu Payment (Krishak Bandhu Payment), then you can check your money status online.You can check the status of Krishak Bandhu Scheme Money by visiting krishakbandhu.net .

How to check farmer friend status through voter ID card?

• First visit Krishakbandhu.net official website of Krishakbandhu.net.
• Registered farmers will get an option of information.
• Click on the option.
• Enter your voter ID card number above and click on the search option.
• If “Transaction Successfully” appears, then the money has been credited to your account. Check the bank account balance to see if you have received the money.

If you do not find any record, then you need to visit the office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture to know your status (Krishak Bandhu Scheme Status).

The best way to know if Krishak Bandhu Beneficiary Status has been credited to your account is to check your bank account statement. You will know if the money has entered only by updating the pass book of the bank.

If you receive a message in your phone message or account statement of Rs. 2 thousand or more, then you will know that the money has come from Krishak Bandhu project.
