SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023 for 1600 Lower Division
Around 1,600 employees will be recruited for the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operator in various Central Government offices through the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) examination of the Staff Selection Commission.
Apply online by June 8, 2023 by 11 PM. Educational Qualification: Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Food and Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture for the post of Data Entry Operator should pass Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognized board in Science with Mathematics.
For the post of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretarial Assistant and for the post of Data Entry Operator in other Ministries/Departments should pass Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognized Board/University. Age: Between 18 and 27 years as on August 1, 2023. That is, the date of birth must be between August 2, 1996 and August 1, 2005.
SC candidates will get age relaxation of 5 years, OBC candidates 3 years and physically challenged candidates 10 years (SC candidates 15 years, OBC candidates 13 years). Vacancies: About 1,600. Pay Scale: Rs.19,900 to Rs.63,200 for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, Rs.25,500 to Rs.81,100 for the post of Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’ and Data Entry Operator **(DEO) Tk 25,500 to Tk 81,100 and Tk 29,200 to Tk 92,300.
How to Apply: Apply online through the website https://ssc.nic.in. For this candidate should have own valid e-mail id and mobile number. Candidate should upload recent color passport photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, between 20 KB to 50 KB size) and signature (4 cm × 2 cm, between 10 KB to 20 KB size) in JPG format. . Application fee of Tk 100 to be submitted online/offline. Online application fee must be submitted by 10 June 2023 at 11 PM.
Generate challan offline by 11th June, 2023 at 11 PM and submit application fee by 12th June, 2023. Scheduled Community, Physically Handicapped, Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates need not pay any fee. After filling and submitting the application as per the instructions, print out 1 copy of the system generated application form with registration number and keep it with you, it will be required later.
Candidate Selection Procedure: The examination will be conducted in two phases. The computer based Tier-I examination will be of 200 marks objective multiple choice type questions of 1 hour duration on English Language (Basic Knowledge) (25 questions, 50 marks), General Intelligence (25 questions, 50 marks), Quantitative Attitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill). (25 Questions, 50 Marks), General Awareness (25 Questions, 50 Marks). An additional 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The exam will be held by August, 2023. If successful can participate in computer based Tier-II examination. Computer based Tier-II exam will have questions in 3 sections. Module-I of Section-I will have Mathematical Abilities (30 questions, 10 marks) and Module-II will have Reasoning and General Intelligence (30 questions, 90 marks).
